What are the main concerns within your practice?

My work is concerned with photography as a tool of representation. I have explored this through its use as documentation, and its ability to be obscured and transformed into something away from reality. I am interested in the moral dilemmas that can arise through this.

What are your biggest influences?

My biggest influences are from my everyday life – my work is nearly always a documentation of my daily routines and quirks.

What’s the first thing you do when you start/what’s your process?

I mostly go to an exhibition or see something online that sparks an idea in my head.

What do you like most about the studio?

I like being able to talk about my ideas with the others in my studio, as well as having resources at my fingertips.

How has your work changed over the course of your degree?

I started university thinking I was a painter and now it has been over a year since I picked up a paintbrush. I realised I liked to create realistic versions of the world, and that this can be achieved with even more success with a camera.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to enter into the world of advertising, being in a more design related role.
